Surge Protection and Voltage Regulation

This model is equipped with surge protection to safeguard your devices from unexpected power spikes or lightning surges. It also includes voltage regulation during battery mode with a tolerance of ±10%, ensuring a stable power supply even in less-than-ideal grid conditions. These features help protect sensitive electronics, like computers, networking equipment, and office electronics, from potential damage.

Battery and Recharge Time

The MERCURY UPS uses two 12V 8.2AH lead-acid batteries, which provide backup power when the main electricity supply is unavailable. The system offers a recharge time of up to 6 hours to recover to 90% capacity after a complete discharge. This allows for long-lasting performance and ensures that your devices remain powered during extended outages.

Transfer Time

The transfer time, which is the time it takes for the UPS to switch from mains power to battery power, is between 2 and 6 milliseconds, making the transition almost instantaneous. This fast transfer ensures minimal disruption to connected equipment, allowing them to continue functioning without noticeable interruption.

Indicators and Audible Alarms

This UPS includes visual indicators to show the status of the power supply:

• Line Mode: Green lighting indicates normal operation.
• Battery Mode: Yellow flashing indicates the UPS is running on battery power.
• Fault: Red lighting indicates a fault condition.

Additionally, the UPS has audible alarms that sound at varying intervals depending on the condition:

• Battery Mode: Every 10 seconds.
• Battery Low: Every second.
• Overload: Every 0.5 seconds.
• Fault: Continuous sound.

These indicators and alarms make it easy to monitor the status of the UPS and respond to any issues promptly.

Design

This UPS is designed for use in environments with a temperature range of 0-40°C and humidity levels between 0-90% (non-condensing). The compact design, with dimensions of 313 x 129 x 175mm, makes it easy to install in both home and office setups without taking up too much space. The unit operates quietly, with a noise level of less than 40dB, ensuring minimal disruption in the workplace or home.
