Printing Technology

The Epson L850 uses Epson Micro Piezo™ print head technology, which features 90 black nozzles and 90 color nozzles for consistent and high-quality results. With a minimum droplet size of 1.5 pl and Variable-Sized Droplet Technology, the printer delivers precise, detailed prints, particularly for photos. The maximum print resolution is 5,760 x 1,440 dpi, ensuring crisp text and vivid color in every print.

Print Speed

The L850 offers a fast printing speed of 37 ppm for monochrome and 38 ppm for color when using plain paper (75 g/m²). For photo printing, it is incredibly efficient, delivering a 12-second print time per 10 x 15 cm photo when using Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. This makes it an excellent choice for photo enthusiasts or users needing quick turnaround times on prints.

Ink Technology
