Printing Technology

The Epson L6570 utilizes PrecisionCore™ print head technology, providing fast and high-quality printing. With a nozzle configuration of 800 nozzles for black and 800 nozzles per colour, this printer is designed to produce exceptional detail. The printer uses pigment ink, which ensures long-lasting, smudge-resistant prints. It boasts a maximum print resolution of 4,800 x 2,400 dpi, which allows for fine details in both monochrome and colour prints.

Print Speed and Performance

The L6570 excels in printing speed, offering 32 pages per minute (ppm) for both monochrome and colour prints on plain paper (75 g/m²). It also supports automatic duplex printing at 21 A4 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour. The printer’s first page out time is quick, taking only 5.5 seconds for monochrome prints and 6 seconds for colour prints, which is ideal for high-demand environments.

Paper Handling

With three paper trays, the L6570 can handle up to 550 sheets of paper in total. It supports a variety of paper sizes, including A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, and several envelope sizes such as DL, C6, and C4. The printer also features automatic duplex printing and borderless printing for photo and document prints. The rear paper path option allows for special media handling, adding flexibility to your print jobs. Additionally, it features an automatic document feeder (ADF) capable of holding 50 pages, which enhances productivity during scanning, copying, and faxing.

Scan and Copy Capabilities

The L6570 includes advanced scanning and copying functions, offering an optical resolution of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi for sharp and detailed scans. The scanner uses Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology for accurate results. The ADF allows for two-sided scanning, with a scanning speed of 27.5 ipm (A4 black) and 9 ipm (A4 colour) for single-sided scanning. The printer supports various output formats such as BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and PNG.

Fax Capabilities

The L6570 provides robust fax functionality, with the ability to send both black and white and colour faxes. It features error correction mode and supports fax transmission speeds of up to 33.6 kbps. The printer can store up to 200 fax speed dials and has a page memory of 550 pages, making it efficient for faxing high volumes of documents. Additional fax features include PC Fax, fax to email, memory reception, and auto redial.

Connectivity

The Epson L6570 offers multiple connectivity options to ensure seamless integration into various office environments. It supports USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct, allowing users to print from virtually any device. The printer also supports mobile and cloud printing through Epson Connect (including iPrint, Email Print, and Scan-to-Cloud), as well as Apple AirPrint, making it convenient for users to print directly from smartphones or tablets.

Design and Build

With a compact design measuring 425 x 500 x 350 mm and a weight of 17.8 kg, the L6570 fits comfortably into a variety of office spaces. The 10.9 cm colour touchscreen enhances the user experience, providing easy navigation and control of the printer’s features. The design is both functional and space-efficient, ensuring that it can handle demanding tasks while taking up minimal space.

Energy Efficiency

The L6570 is designed with energy efficiency in mind. It consumes just 19 watts during standalone copying and only 0.8 watts in sleep mode. In power-off mode, it uses 0.2 watts, contributing to a TEC of 0.14 kWh/week, helping to reduce overall energy consumption and costs.
