Printing Technology

The Epson L15160 is equipped with the advanced PrecisionCore™ Print Head, designed to ensure high-speed, high-quality output with a nozzle configuration of 800 nozzles for black and 800 nozzles per colour. The printer uses DURABrite™ ET pigment ink, which is ideal for producing smudge-proof, water-resistant prints that are vibrant and durable. It offers a minimum droplet size of 3.8 pl and a print resolution of 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, ensuring precise and detailed prints every time.

Print Speed and Performance

The L15160 delivers impressive printing speeds of up to 25 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour documents, making it well-suited for high-volume printing. When handling larger documents, it can print up to 32 pages per minute on plain paper at 75 g/m². Automatic duplex printing is supported for A4 and A3 sizes, enhancing productivity by printing on both sides of the paper automatically. The first page out time is fast at 5.5 seconds for both monochrome and colour prints.

Paper Handling

This model offers robust media handling with support for three paper trays and a 250-sheet paper capacity per tray. It can handle various paper sizes, including A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, and envelopes (DL and No. 10). The automatic document feeder (ADF) can hold up to 50 pages and supports double-sided scanning, making it an ideal choice for duplex printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. It also features borderless printing, perfect for photo and creative projects.

Scan and Copy Capabilities

The L15160 offers versatile scanning capabilities, with an optical resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 dpi for high-quality scans. It supports single-sided scanning at speeds of 26 images per minute (ipm) for black and 9 ipm for colour, as well as double-sided scanning at 11.5 ipm for black and 6 ipm for colour. The maximum scan size is 297 mm x 432 mm, making it suitable for scanning large documents. It also supports a wide range of output formats, including PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and PNG.

Fax Capabilities

The L15160 includes a fax function with both black and white and colour faxing. It supports a fax transmission speed of up to 33.6 kbps and can store up to 550 pages in memory. Additionally, it includes features such as PC fax, fax to email, memory reception, and broadcast fax, which are beneficial for office environments that require efficient communication.

Connectivity

The printer offers extensive connectivity options, including USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi. It also supports Wi-Fi Direct, allowing for wireless printing directly from mobile devices without the need for a router. The printer supports popular cloud printing services, such as Epson Connect (iPrint, Email Print, Scan-to-Cloud), Apple AirPrint, and Epson Smart Panel App, making it easy to print from smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
